Psiber Data have announced that vendor approval has been gained from cable and connectivity manufacturer Brand-Rex for permanent link and channel testing of all their structured cabling solutions up to and including their Cat6A, Class EA Permanent Link and Channel configurations, with the Psiber WireXpert Network Cable Analyzer.

Psiber Data have also announced that the WireXpert cabling certifier has received approval from Hellerman Tyton  for warranty certification, for all their structured cabling solutions up to and including Cat6A, Class EA for permanent link and channel.The formal approval letters will be posted on Psiber website as soon as possible.

The Psiber WireXpert is rapidly gaining recognition from key vendors as a comprehensive field test solution for next generation cabling systems. Further approvals are being sought, which will be announced on the Psiber web site.

Brand-Rex recently announced that it was going to cease manufacture of GigaPlus, Cat5e, and Cat6Plus, Cat6 PVC sheathed cables. This change has now taken place and all future GigaPlus and Cat6Plus cables will have LSOH sheath jackets only.
